SPORT & LEISURE
You can get an adrenalin rush on the skyride at the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena which houses the world's largest indoor set of climbing walls – not for the fainthearted! Practice, or even learn, skiing or boarding on one of Europe's longest artificial ski slopes at Hillend or go ice skating and try your hand at curling at Murrayfield ice rink. Cycle along the many cycle routes in and around the city, swim at the Commonwealth Pool just a few minutes walk from our
holiday apartment
or take a hike across the Pentland Hills and finish your trek with a delicious Scottish ale or a fireside whisky and a scrumptious meal at a local pub.
Golf
Scotland is the home of golf and there are many public and private golf courses within the capital city. Prestonfield is within walking distance of
our holiday apartment
whilst Duddingston, Craigmillar Park and Liberton are all a few minutes drive away. There are around 15 other golf courses in the city, six of which are public courses run by Edinburgh Leisure. Dalmahoy, with its championship course, is located just on the edge of the city.
Our holiday apartment is an ideal base for a golfing holiday with St. Andrew's and its historic Old Course, Turnberry, Muirfield and more than another 20 courses in East Lothian all within easy reach for day trips.
